Funeral services for Margaret Brookerd Davies Quan, 73, of Thomasville, GA will be Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dr. Don Prevatt will officiate and internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Quan died on November 20, 2011 in Springfield, MO. Born May 18, 1938 in Ty Ty , GA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Alfred and Eddie Clyde Mathis Brookerd. Mrs. Quan is a member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Dennis A. Quan and a son and daughter in law, Grady Clay and Patricia Hanks Davies of Auburn, AL. Also surviving are a brother and sister in law, George "Pete" and Ann Brookerd of Thomasville, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse Lee Brookerd, Harmon Brookerd, and Roy Carson Brookerd. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Thursday night.
