Margaret Elizabeth Vonier

Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Vonier, 86, of Pavo, are 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Salem Baptist Church with interment in Salem Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Love and Rev. Darrell Owens will officiate. Mrs. Vonier died May 30, at her residence. Born August 13, 1920, in Thomas Co., she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. William Pafford. On October 23, 1934, she married Ernest E. Vonier, who preceded her in death February 15, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of Kennedy Chapel Church. Survivors include mother Katie Pafford, of Boston, daughter & son-in-law, Eunice & Edward Shepard, of Thomasville, daughter Dorothy Jean Plymel, of Pavo, wife of the late W.J. Plymel, daughter & son-in-law, Julia & Gerald Kearney, of Pavo, son & daughter-in-law, Edward & Kay Vonier, of Pavo, son Bob Redfearn, of Whigham, brother, Pete Owens, of Thomasville, sisters, Tommie Ruth Vick, Mott Clark, both of Boston, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon, Ave, Thomasville, Ga 31792. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm, today at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
