Margaret Griffen Whiddon Harrell

Services for Margaret Griffen Whiddon Harrell, 84, of Thomasville, will be at 2:00PM on Friday, May 24, 2002 at Rose City Church of God. Rev. Gerald Horne will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Harrell died on Tuesday, May 21 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 3, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Wiley and Leta Griffen. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lois & Kenny Dunnam, son Johnny Rack Whiddon all of Thomasville, Charlie L. Whiddon of Ochlocknee and son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Lois Whiddon of Cairo, sister, Ruth Murray of Alexandria, LA., brother, Horton Griffen of Thomasville, grandchildren, Patricia Rayburn, Glenn Rayburn and Herbie Rayburn all of Thomasville, Latrelle Harrell of Cairo, Cindy Revels of Tallahassee, FL., Chuck Whiddon of Coolidge, Nona Jordan of Moultrie, Lisa Howell of Cairo, Sharon Murphy of Adel and Melonie Johnson of Cairo, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband J. C. Whiddon, sisters, Anna Lee Wiggens, Nancy Miles, Eugenia Lee and brother Romeo Griffen. The family will meet at the home of Pat Rayburn, 54 Phillip Lane Oak Hill Estates, Thomasville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9PM.
