Margaret Elizabeth Snipes Hines

Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Snipes Hines, 95, of Thomasville, will be at 3:00PM, Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery and Rev. Homer Croft will officiate. Mrs. Hines passed away on August 10, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 14, 1921 in Pelham, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Snipes and Martha Ann Shiver Snipes. Mrs. Hines was married to Bobby Hines, who preceded her in death in 1990. She was employed at Coats & Clark in 1953, where she worked until her retirement in 1983. Survivors include daughters, Ann Deason of Thomasville, Cheree Croft and husband Bert of Thomasville; sons George Robison and wife Melissa of Meigs and Danny Deason and wife Annette of Monticello; grandchildren, Mamie Elizabeth Dykes and husband Rick, Byron Croft, Blair Croft, Jordan Robison, Jarrett Robison; great grandchildren, Robert Dykes, Nathan Blackburn and Makala Dykes; two special grandchildren, Delaney and Jackson Nixs; sister-in-law Joanne Hines Tucker; and brother-in-law Charlton Hines and wife Jean. She was preceded in death by son Bob Hines, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends 2:00PM until 3:00PM, Sunday, August 13, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
