Margaret Matilla Willis

Graveside services for Margaret Matilla Willis will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, March 3, 2003 in Laurel Hill Cemetery on 3rd St. The Rev. Bob Hall and Rev. Virgil Lee will officiate. Mrs. Willis died on March 1, 2003 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 30, 1918 in Thomasville to the late Edward Leon Joiner and Hattie Mallard McKinnon Joiner. She was married in Boston on March 6, 1938 to Guy C. Willis who preceded her in death. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and a member of Dawson Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-laws Sue & James Cleveland and Margie & Oliver Jones; sister Sara Ann McCall; grandchildren Tish Cleveland Barrett, Linda Cleveland McClure, Jim Cleveland, Kay Jones McCullers, Steven Jones, Angela Jones, Catherine Mims Williams, Cyle Mims, and Christy Mims; nine great grandchildren.
