Margaret Anne Morris

Graveside service for Margaret Anne Morris, 77 of Coolidge will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Big Ochlocknee Cemetery. Rev. Adam Gilligan and Rev. Mike Keown will officiate. She passed away peacefully January 21, 2018 at 1:10 A.M. at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born June 24, 1940 to Raymond and Octavia Boyette, who preceded her in death. She was originally a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and she graduated from Whigham High School in June of 1959, and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. She married L.C. Morris April 15, 1960 and they became members of Coolidge Memorial Baptist Church. He preceded her in death. She continued to operate the family farm and a car business. She is survived by daughters Linda Cauley and Terri Morris Odom (Bobby). She was also survived by grandchildren, Lindsey Coffee (Jesse), Cameron Cauley and Chase Odom; great-granddaughters, Ella Coffee and Sadie Coffee; sisters, Annette Steere of Alexander City, Alabama, Jennifer Waits of Powder Springs, Johnnie Boyette of Coolidge and Mamie Tomy of Newnan; brothers, Henry Boyette of Tifton and William Boyette of Conyers. She also has many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Leslie Christina Morris, her husbands parents, Lonnie & Velma Morris. The family will receive friends 4-6pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
