Margaret ''Peggy'' Kirton Bull

Margaret ''Peggy'' Kirton Bull, 96, a resident at Glenn-Mor, Thomasville, GA died Thursday April 11, 2002. A Memorial and Communion service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, May 13, 2002 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 214 Remington Ave., Thomasville, Ga., with Father Charles Bennett officiating. Family will receive friends after the service. Allen & Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville 229-226-6331 is handling the arrangements. Interment will be in the Minneola Cemetery, Minniola, Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the Salvation Army or organization of your choice. She was born April 19, 1905 in Christ Church, Barbados, British West Indies, the third of nine children of Charles Richard Kirton and Mabel Frederick Clarke. After completion of High School she immigrated into the United States from Canada in 1923 and graduated from a Registered Nursing Program at the Methodist Episcopal Hospital in New York in 1928. In 1933 she married Hugh McDerment Bull, who had immigrated to the United States from Ballymahon, County Longford, Ireland in 1926. He entered the US Army during WWII and retired while serving at Ft. Benning, GA. in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1978. She is survived by three sons Robert L. ''Bob'' Bull and his wife Nancy, Tallahassee, Fl., Richard Hugh Bull and his wife Alice, Fayetteville, NC and Norman Clarke Bull, San Diego, CA and Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan former USSR, six grandchildren John Lawrence Bull, Lake Wales, Fl., Peggy Bull Adams, High Point, NC., Brendan Bull, Fayetteville, NC., Robert L. Bull, Jr., Thomas Hugh Bull and Nancy Anne Bull Teems of Tallahassee, Fl., and nine great grandchildren John Robert Bull, and KateLynn Bull, Valrico, Fl., Natalie Anne Adams and Emily Elizabeth Adams, High Point, NC., Morgan Lindsay Bull, McKenzie Anne Teems, and Alexandra Caroline Teems born April 19, 2002Tallahassee, Fl., Chandler Teems, Lakeland, Fl., and Casey Weldon Bull, Jefferson City, MO. She leaves behind five siblings, Phyllis Kirton Moncrieff, Zephyrhills, Fl., Ralph Kirton, Campbellton, Ontario, Canada, Graeme Kirton, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, Mary Kirton Howard, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and a brother Gordon and sister-in-law, Irene Kirton of Belleville, Ontario, Canada and brothers-in-law Noel Farrar, Ajax, Ontario, Canada and William ''Bill'' Bull, LLandfyllin Powys, Wales, UK. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews in the US, Canada and UK., special friends Verna Fairchild, Margaret Davis, Marci Heard, Becky Avery of Minneola, Fl., and Laura E. ''Betsy'' Stokes of Morganton, NC. She was preceded in death by a sister Doris Kirton Bourne and brother Fred Kirton both in Barbados, British West Indies and a sister Evelyn Kirton Farrar, Ajax, Ontario, Canada.
