Margaret Locklin Snyder

Graveside services for Margaret Locklin Snyder, 86, of Greensboro, formally of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Father Godfred Boachie-Yiadom will officiate. Ms. Snyder passed away December 3, 2018 in Athens. Born June 23,1932 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Newman James Locklin and Elsie Florine Huggins Locklin. On August 12, 1969 in Thomasville she married Frank A. Snyder who preceded her in death in 1980. She was a longtime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Thomasville and was retired from Southwestern State Hospital where she worked as a secretary. She is survived by her brother Sam Locklin of Greensboro and cousins John Lewis Huggins of Daphne, Alabama and William Frank (Bill) Huggins of Albany. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
