Marian Shepherd Dollar

Services for Marian Shepherd Dollar, 87 of Cairo will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donnie Smith and Rev. Bill Staten will officiate and interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Ms. Dollar passed away February 4, 2017 at Archbold Hospital. Born November 4, 1929 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Shepherd and Mattie Laura Willis Shepherd. She was married to Henry David Dollar who preceded her in death. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to gospel sings, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Chandler and husband Don of Cairo; granddaughter, Susan Vinson; great-grandchildren, Austin Vinson, Cierra Carter and Jolie Brinson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Shepherd. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, before the service.
