Marie Crosby Price

Funeral services for Marie Crosby Price, 90, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Dawson St. United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ramon Hernandez will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Kentucky St. Mrs. Price died August 8, 2007 at Magnolia Manor in Moultrie. Born October 12, 1916 in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Alma Lyles Crosby. She married Lonnie Franklin Price, who preceded her in death on April 25, 1978. Mrs. Price was a homemaker and a member of Dawson St. United Methodist Church. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Gary M. Taylor of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jason and Shae Taylor of Thomasville; great-grandchildren, Griffin Taylor and Eli Taylor both of Thomasville; sister, Wilma Sharp of Maryland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laverne and Doug Norton of Pelham, Jean and Jerry Miller and Janice and Clyde Short all of Moultrie and Martyle and Paul Barwick of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Eunice Crosby of Thomasville; and Numerous nieces and nephews. A brother, Paul Crosby preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dawson St. United Methodist Church, 1132 N. Dawson St., Thomasville, Ga., 31792.
