Marie Moncrief

Funeral services for Ora Marie Moncrief, 91, of Thomasville will be Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. The burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Born August 22, 1932 in Alapaha, Ga to the late Daniel Griner and Rachel Roe Griner. Mrs. Moncrief was a member at Dawson Street Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School Class. She was married for 62 years to the love of her life Terry Moncrief who preceded her in death. She loved her family and spending time with them. Other survivors include a son and daughter in law, Bob and Rhonda Moncrief of Seymour, TN, daughter and son in law, Melinda and Jim Tashie of Thomasville, and grandchildren, Robert and Lillian Moncrief, Tyler and Kelly Miller, Christina and Steven Clawson and Hannah Marie and Sam Newberry. Also surviving are great grandchildren Emma, Logan, Owen, Addison Marie, Ryder, Harper, Sophia and Scarlett and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Ouida Boykin Clark. The family will receive friends 1-2pm on Tuesday before the service.
