Services for Marie Miller Norman Benton, 84, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Parkway Church of God. The Rev. Richard Dobson will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Benton died October 6, 2010 at Camilla Garden. Born January 9, 1926 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Miller and Minnie Brinson Miller. She was married to Rev. Eugene Norman and later to Albert Benton, both who precede her in death. She was a member of Parkway Church of God and a pastor's wife for 50 years. Survivors include nieces and nephews-in-law, Faye & Tommy Dixon of Ochlocknee and Louise & Delma Hasty of Edgewater, Fl; great nieces and nephews, Michelle Shoemaker, Dana Strickland, Bethany Hutchinson, Robbie Hasty and Allen Delaney. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Hubert Boyles; and a niece, Elizabeth Fuller. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
