Graveside services for Marion Claxton Barnett, age 62, are at 10:00AM on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on First Street. The Rev. James Pollard will officiate. Born June 2, 1942 in Thomasville, GA he passed away August 20, 2004 in Jefferson City, TN. He was an ordained minister and investment representative for Edward Jones and lived in Jefferson City, TN for the past 15 years. Marion is remembered as a son, father, brother, friend, pilot, traveler and lifelong learner. He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, John Mark and Christine Barnett, and Joshua Andrew and Sarah Barnett; grandson, William Benjamin Barnett; brother Richard Andrew Barnett; sisters Patricia Barnett Dixon and Peggy Barnett Wilson; mother, Eugenia Croley and numerous nieces and nephews. A friend to all, he will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 in the hangar of Alpha Aviation of Morristown Airport, 312 Piper Street, Jefferson City, TN.
