Services for Marion Pat Fiveash, 83 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Ronnie Wills, Rev. Bob Dixon and Rev. Burns Willis will officiate and interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Fiveash passed away September 14, 2014 at his residence. Born September 17, 1930 in Seminole County, Ga, he was the son of the late Pat L Fiveash and Vera Hill Fiveash. He graduated from Seminole County High School and attended Ga State University. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving with the 41st Field Artillery Group Headquarters. Mr. Fiveash married Dian Swinney in Atlanta in 1953. They moved to Thomasville from Atlanta in 1960. He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church where he served on the administrative board and was a longtime usher; he was a member of the Thomasville Kiwanis Club for 24 years and was retired owner of Thomasville Financial Services. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dian S. Fiveash; sons, Stanley L. Fiveash and wife Deborah, Donald P. Fiveash and wife Lisa and Jeffrey S. Fiveash and wife Tracie; grandchildren, Ashley Beaty and husband Brian, Kyle R. Fiveash and wife Courtney, Stacy Hayes and husband Ken, Ivey Fiveash and Chandler Fiveash; great grandchildren, Landon Beaty, Madelyn Beaty, Cadyn Fiveash, Konner Fiveash and Kaser Fiveash; brother, Bob Fiveash and wife Jeannette and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Methodist Church of Thomasville Ga., 425 N.
