Mark Wesley Benton

Mark Wesley Benton, 63 of Cairo passed away May 22, 2023 at Archbold Hospital. Born February 9, 1960 in Tallahassee, Florida, he was the son of the late Wesley G. Benton and Sandra Ward Benton, who survives. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 2 PM graveside at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a registered nurse for Advent Health in Florida and he loved his pets. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Ward Benton of Thomasville; nephews, Ryan Benton, Jeremy Benton, Zachary Benton, Ethan Benton, Logan Benton, and Weston Benton; niece, Elizabeth G. Benton; and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Bert G. Benton.
