Marselene "Marsy" Young Laurie

Marselene (Marsy) Young Laurie, Age 68 passed peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at her home in New Port Richey, FL. She was born April 21, 1951, in Thomasville, GA to the late Carson and Opal Young. She attended Thomasville High School and Alamance Community College in NC. She had a rewarding career as a Real Estate Broker and Office Manager of a Successful Builder in Graham, NC. Marsy is survived by two daughters; Lisa Moses-Huf (Roman), Tina Hiers Rumore (Mark), and one granddaughter, Jordan Huf all of Tampa, FL. She has five siblings; Sylvia Godwin of Woodstock, GA, Harry Young of Cairo, GA, Terry Young of Houston, TX, Virginia (Jennie) Reeves (Everett) of Thomasville, GA; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Marty Young. Family and friends to whom she touched are invited to the memorial at Allen and Allen Funeral Home, 110 Hansell St, Thomasville, GA at 3 PM on August 10, 2019 to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
