Marshall Patten Bryant Sr. Pat, age 70, of Fort Walton Beach, FL. passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2002, as a result of a tragic fire at his home. He was born on August 6, 1932 in Thomas County, GA. He had been a resident of the local area since 1969. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach, FL. During his working years he had been an airline pilot. He, also enjoyed leisure flying of small aircraft. He enjoyed boating and fishing, spending time on the farm and enjoyed traveling and visiting family members. He also loved his pets. He was the founder of the Koontz Little Chapel Funeral Home. He was a loving father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine Bryant in 1990.
He is survived by his son: Marshall P. Bryant II of Fort Walton Beach, FL.; daughters, Marsha C. and husband Dave Corbett of Albuquerque, N.M. and Maureen and husband Mike Noland of Memphis, TN.; brothers, Bart and wife Becky Bryant of Thomasville, GA. and Larry and wife Jackie Bryant also of Thomasville, GA.; and seve special grandchildren.
Friends may call at a visitation at the Little Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002 from 1-6 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 26, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. also at the funeral home with Dr. Howard Gates officiating. Graveside will be at Barnett's Creek Cemetery next to his loving wife Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002 at 10:00 A.M.
