Martha C Clifton

Martha (Marty) C. Clifton, 80, of Thomasville, GA, returned home to her Lord and Savior on November 25, 2022, in Jacksonville, FL after a lengthy illness. She fought a hard battle. She was born October 9, 1942, in Ft. Pierce, Florida to the late Grover C. Durham and Marie Brinson Durham. Marty graduated as a medical assistant from Thomas College. She was a member of Cross Pointe Church in Pelham, Ga. She is survived by her daughter Roxanne Rader (David) of Hilliard, Fl, grandchildren Tommy Smoak, Joel Rader, Rachael Rader, Murphy Cook III, and Courtney Miller, brothers Sam Durham (Rena) of Ft. Pierce, Fl, Ronnie Durham (Pam) of Dowling Park, FL and Warren Durham (Frances) of Ft. Pierce, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Clifton, son Murphy Cook, parents Grover and Marie Durham, and sisters Pricilla Frangella and Ramona Beene. Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11 AM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel in Thomasville, Ga. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Thomasville, GA. A visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel in Thomasville, Ga. In lieu of flowers the family prefers a donation to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
