Martha Howard Fullerton of Thomasville, Georgia, formerly of Allison Park, PA died peacefully at home surrounded by her family November 19, 2009. Born in Pittsburgh, PA. June 13, 1921, Martha was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. William E. Howard.
Martha married Victor Bus Fullerton on November 27, 1941, both graduates of Westinghouse High School. Mr. & Mrs. Fullerton resided in Allison Park, PA for over 50 years, where they built their home and raised four children. She was an active member of Parkwood Presbyterian Church, serving on various committees. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Upon moving to Thomasville, GA, Martha joined Thomasville First United Methodist Church and attended the adult Bible Study Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Archbold Auxiliary and donated numerous hand-knitted items for the newborn nursery at Archbold Hospital.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Bus, on August 9, 1997.
Survivors include her sister, Bertha Scott of Beaverton OR, daughter Linda Fullerton of Thomasville GA, son Robert wife Joan of Baden, PA, daughter Vicki Connelly husband Rich of Alpharetta, GA and son, Randy partner Chuck of Decatur, GA, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at King Funeral Home, Allison Park, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest GA, c/o Archbold Foundation 910 S. Broad Street, Thomasville, GA 31792 or Thomasville First United Methodist Church, PO Box 975, Thomasville, GA 31799.
