Graveside services for Martha Jeanne Bruce Bradshaw, 88, of Boston, Georgia, will be held at 11AM, Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Boston Cemetery. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate the service. Mrs. Bradshaw went to be with The Lord on May 13, 2014. She was born to the late Sam and Ruth Bruce in Boston, Georgia August 24, 1925. Mrs. Bradshaw was the eldest of eight brothers and sisters. She married Floyd Lee Bradshaw Jr. in 1948, and they raised their four children together in the charming town of Boston. Mrs. Bradshaw dedicated her life to raising her children. She was a lifetime member of Boston Baptist Church. She loved to laugh and loved living her life in Boston surrounded by family and friends. She spent the last several years of her life at Southern Pines, which she dearly loved, in her precious pink cottage. Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Bonnie Bradshaw of Thomasville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law Jenny and Eddy Householder of Tyrone, Georgia; and son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Nancy Bradshaw of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brothers Frank (Pap), Al, and Mike; sisters Mary and Sarah (Pet). Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Floyd and her oldest son, Brad and her brothers Walt (Bubba) and Sammy. The family has requested an in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114 Mimosa Dr., Thomasville, GA, 31792.
