Martha Ruth (Bulloch) Martin

Memorial services for Martha Martin will be held at 4 PM Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Allen and Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Casual attire is welcomed. Mrs. Martha Martin, 71, passed away on September 7, 2022, at her residence in Thomasville, Ga. Martha was born December 18, 1950, in Tifton, Ga. to the late William and Mary Evelyn (Baker) Bulloch. In 1969 she graduated from Tifton County High School, then in 1970, graduated from ABAC. She became legal secretary for Andrews & Seary. She then retired from Cives Steel Company after many years. On January 10, 1971, Martha married the love of her life, Wayne Martin, who survives. She is also survived by children Allen (Susie) Martin of Jacksonville, Fl., and Waymon (Kristi) Martin of Thomasville, Ga; grandchildren Barrett Martin, Thomas Hill, Trystan Martin, Taylor Martin, Parker Folsom, Hunter Martin, and Shelby Kate Martin; great-grandchild Asher Martin; siblings Bobby Bulloch of Alabama and Linda Elton of Thomasville, Ga; and brothers-in-law Gene Thomaston of Thomasville, Ga, and Odell (Hope) Martin of Cairo, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Curtis and Christine Martin, siblings Faye Bulloch and Jim Bulloch, and sister-in-law Frances Thomaston. Martha loved spending time with Wayne, her spouse of 51 years, as well as her sons and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking with Shelby Kate, hearing about her son Allen's latest tournament, and watching her grandsons play sports while her granddaughter cheered them on. She also enjoyed fishing, decorating for Christmas, and making Easter baskets for her family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Shand's Pediatric Hospital or St. Jude's.
