Services for Martha Ola Swords Cain, 93, of Thomasville are 4:00 pm, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Jacobs and Rev. Morris Nichols will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill on Florida St. Pallbearers are Jimmy Carter Jr, Raymond Carter, Kent Croft III, Lee Simpson, Chris Clark and Kent Croft. Mrs. Cain died October 10, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Born May 24, 1917 in Colquitt Co, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Swords and Barzilla Driver Swords. On April 27, 1943 in Moultrie, she married Robert Lee Cain Jr, who preceded her in death on August 22, 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Sarah Genell & Billy Brown and Elizabeth & Jimmy Carter, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Scarlett Croft, Jimmy Carter Jr, Raymond Carter, Ricky Simpson and Tammy Fielding; 16 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and the Golden Living Staff that loved "Grandma Cain". The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Guests may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
