Marvin Wilson Dixon

Memorial service for Marvin Wilson Dixon, 74, of Quitman will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at New Life Assembly of God Church in Quitman for family and close friends only, due to Covid. Mr. Dixon passed away on December 9, 2020 in Thomasville. He was born on March 7, 1946, in Pavo, GA to the late Robert Lee Dixon and to the late Antionette Dixon. Marvin was an Army Veteran, he was an Arial Applicator, who enjoyed flying. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and horses. Marvin was passionate about his family and loved to tell stories. He was married to Marie Dixon for 54 years, who preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, Ken Dixon and wife Red of Quitman, Keith Dixon and wife Shannon of Vidor, TX, Karl Dixon and wife Kim of Quitman; brother, Ronald Dixon and wife Betty of Nashville, GA; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
