Services for Marvin E. "Buck" Schul, 68, of Tallahassee, Fla., are at 4 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Schul died March 12, 2008 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Born, November 9, 1939, in Preble County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Homer and Flora Kendel Schul. He was married to Kathleen Hickman Carter, who survives. Others survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Tony Gallardo of Ochlocknee, Kathy and Kevin Williamson of Tallahassee, Fla., Ellen and Durelle Hardin of Lyons and Ruby and Royce Hardin of Lyons; daughter, Carol Schul of Savannah; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Edna Granger of Flora, Ala., Ronnie and Terri Carter of North Wilkesborough, N.C., John and Tonya Granger of Tallahassee, Fla., David and Martha Schul of Wakula, Fla., Edward and Kim Schul of Tallahassee, Fla. and Bruce and Dottie Schul of Arcadia, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Irma Carroll and Linda Lawson, both of Middletown, Ohio and Rita Schul of Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Schul was preceded in death by brothers, Buddy Schul and Steven Schul. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
