Mary Alderman

Funeral services for Mary Alderman, 94, of Pavo will be held Tuesday September 1, 2009 at 11:00AM at Pavo Baptist Church where she was a member . The Rev. Larry Harris and Rev. Dr. Wade Bridges will officiate and interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Ms. Alderman died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Thomasville. Born December 18, 1914 in Pavo she was the daughter of the late Hugh James Alderman and Nan White Alderman and lived in Pavo her entire life. She had a AB degree from Valdosta State College, a Master of Education from Mercer University and a Specialist in Education from UGA. Ms. Alderman was a member of the Pavo Womens Club and Womens Missionary Union and DAR. She was retired from The Thomasville City School System. She is survived by many cousins.
