Services for Mary Lou Brock Allen, 83, of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Dawson Street Baptist Church, where she was a member. Family friend and her Pastor, Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Ashley Palmer, David Logue, Richard Boyles, Matthew Allen, J.R. Bonner and Jody Renfroe. Mrs. Allen died September 28, 2015 at The Suites of Woodleaf in Thomasville. Born December 20, 1931 in Irwin County, Georgia she was the daughter of the late William David and Sallie Mae McMullen Brock. She graduated from Norman Park High School. On May 15, 1952 she married Leonard Rudolph Allen who preceded her in death. She loved spending time with her family, traveling and took great pride in being a good Gannie to all of her grandchildren. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Leslie Allen of Thomasville, daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Steve Griffin of Thomasville, Denise and Bernie Boyles of Valdosta, daughter, Cheryl Logue of Metairie, LA, grandchildren, Ashley and Megan Palmer, Amy and Ken Strube, David Logue, April Waldron, Jennifer Kaye and Robert Eisen, Kimberly Rollins, Richard Boyles and Matthew Allen, great grandchildren, Kenleigh Rollins, Harris Allen Palmer, Avery Strube, Brock Rollins, Owen Eisen, Cooper Strube and Mary Elaine Palmer, sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Joe Bonner of Thomasville, brothers and sisters-law, Gene and Karin Brock of Moultrie, GA, Leonard and Ann Brock of Greenville, SC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Robert Brock and sisters, Sarah Mozel Moncrief, Cora Lee Bates and Betty Sue Parker.
