Mary Ann Brown Bell

Mary Ann Brown Bell passed away on January 20, 2025, in Citra, Florida. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2 pm with Doctor Jimmy Clanton officiating. Ann was born in Merrillville, Georgia to Cecil Lamar Brown and Azoline Murphy Brown on August 16, 1943. She was the fourth of six children.

Ann was baptized along with her sister, Martha, at an early age and became a member of Merrillville Baptist Church. Her family was active in the church both through Sunday Services and Revivals. Homecoming with dinner on the grounds was a time they always looked forward to.

Ann is survived by her sons, Glenn Bell (Patty) of Citra, Gary Bell of Lake City, and Randy Bell of Bell, Florida; her sister Martha Vick of Enterprise, Alabama and brothers Sonny Brown (Carol) of Dixie, Lamar Brown (Lillian) of Thomasville, and Laverne Bell of Tallahassee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or church.
