Graveside services for Mary Chapman Moye of Barwick are 2:00PM, Saturday, September 21, 2002 at Roselawn Cemetery. Rev. Douglas Harvey and Rev. Robert Becken will officiate. Mrs. Moye died September 18, 2002 at Colquitt Co., Regional Hospital in Moultrie, GA. Born December 26, 1919 in Barwick, GA., where she lived most of her life, she was the daughter of the late David & Mattie Thornhill Chapman. On August 2, 1941 in Barwick she married David Moye who died on May 17, 1999. She was a Home Economic teacher for the Brooks Co. School System and Thomasville City School System. She was a member of Barwick United Methodist Church, UDC, a Pink Lady at Archbold Hospital and Justice of the Peace. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1940. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rosalyn & Jim Forsyth of Albany, sister, Lois Perry of Moultrie and sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor & Wayne Shannon of Preston, GA. and several neices & nephews.
