Mary Christine Gee Blankenship

Funeral services for Mary Christine Gee Blankenship, 80, of Thomasville are 10:00 am, Friday, July 20, 2007 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel, with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Grady Burgess Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Blankenship died July 15, 2007 at Golden Living Center. Born December 25, 1926 in Waco, TX, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vernon & Vinnie Ruth Gee. On June 5, 1948 in Waco, TX, she married Albert Blankenship, who survives. She was a homemaker, a teacher at Garrison Pilcher School and a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Other survivors include sons & daughters-in-law: Bruce Neal & Teresa Blankenship, of Thomasville, and Charles Albert & Cyndi Blankenship, of Canton, N.C. Also surviving are grandchildren, Matthew Neal and Amanda Blankenship, Steven Lee Blankenship, R J McClure, Rory McClure; a great grandson, Britton Blankenship, and a brother & sister-in-law Roy Melton & Edna Rhea Gee, of Irving, TX. Two brothers Vernon Gee and Joe Gee preceded her in death. Donations may be made to the Youth Program at Dawson Street Baptist Church, 1025 N. Dawson St, Thomasville, Ga 31792.
