Mary Lee Dunham

Mary Lee Dunham, age 78, of Thomasville, GA, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at her residence. Born on September 23, 1947, in Stockton, CA, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Ermina Olson Allen. Mary briefly worked at Walmart before she pursued her passion for healthcare. She graduated from dental school and began working at Archbold Memorial Hospital in the education department, where she would retire. In 1966, Mary married the love of her life, Sherril Kay Dunham, in Reno, Nevada. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. Mary had a vibrant spirit and enjoyed activities such as crochet, dancing, and reading, which brought joy to her and those around her. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Sherril Dunham; their children, Chris Dunham of Ochlocknee, Katie Palmer (Kevin) of Ochlocknee, Shelly Sellars (Ron) of Pavo; grandchildren Anthony (Mckenzie) Dunham of OR, Jessica (Yancey) Baggett of Leesburg, Joshua (Randi) Smith of Thomasville, Jena (Taylor) Hurst of Pelham, Colt Dunham of Ochlocknee, Megan (Dustin) Seay of Coolidge, Chelsea (Bryan) Palmer of Coolidge; twelve great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Jeanne Nowak, Jack McCue, Joanne Watchers, and Ronald McCue, all of California. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Ochlocknee City Cemetery with Pastor Terry Hurst officiating. Pallbearers will be John Wheeler, Timmy McGillard, Todd Milam, Jeff Allen, Michael High, Silas Mayeux. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home on Saturday evening.
