Mary Elizabeth May Walker

Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth May Walker, 51, of Thomasville will be held 11 am, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy Scoonover will officiate. Ms. Walker passed away October 24, 2011 at Archbold Hospital. Born December 11, 1959 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of Joseph E. May and Martha May who survive. She graduated from Valdosta State College and was employed with Colquitt County School System as an elementary music teacher. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir and was director of the Children s Choir. Other survivors include sons, Russell Joseph Harrison of Cairo and John David Harrison of LaGrange; grandchildren, Chasten Russell Harrison and Dori Ella Harrison; sister Rebecca May Jones of Punta Gorda, Fl and numerous nieces, nephews aunts and uncles.
