Memorial services for Mary Ella McCormick, 79, of Cairo are at 2:00 PM, Sunday July 24, 2011 at Pine Park Baptist Church, where she was a member. Mrs. McCormick died on July 22, 2011 at her residence. Born April 14, 1932 in Schyller Co., Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Anna Taylor Learned. Mrs. McCormick and her husband lived most of their live in Macomb, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Lee McCormick, her son Terry McCormick and a grandson, William G. Jones. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Kathy and Billy Jones of Cairo, a brother, Robert Learned of Texas; 3 sisters Marjorie Ellis of Bushnell, IL, Anna May Walton of Macomb, IL and Rosalie Shumaker of Ellisville, IL, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather for lunch at Pine Park Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, 919 S.
