Graveside services for Mary Evelyn Turner Eason, 85 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Georgia St. Pallbearers will be Chad Morris, Charlie Morris, James Casanova, Tyler Stephens, John Brazell and Rick Dunn. Rev. Marty Carnes will officiate. Mrs. Eason passed away September 29, 2014 at Archbold Hospital. Born April 29, 1929 in Maplesville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James Alvie Turner and Herald Mitchell Turner Hooper. On August 18, 1949 in Casey, Ala she married Walter Lynwood Eason who preceded her in death in 2004. She retired from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in 1964 as an administrative assistant. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was involved in various organizations during her life. She is a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Gail Eason Clark (Steve), Kaye Eason Casanova (James) all of Thomasville and Walter Lynwood Eason, Jr (Chip) of Folkston; grandchildren, Stephanie Clark Morris (Chad) of Coolidge, Sonja Clark of Thomasville, Brittany Eason Brazell (John) of Kingsland, Kalyn Casanova Stephens (Tyler) of Washington, DC, James Casanova, Kelley Casanova all of Thomasville and Rick Dunn (Kristy) of Dahlonega; 8 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brother, James (Buddy) Turner. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 2790, Thomasville, Ga 31792, to Archbold Memorial Hospital Foundation, P.O.
