Mrs. Mary A Howell, a beloved member of the community, peacefully passed away on July 13, 2024, in Camilla, GA. She was born on April 4, 1940, in Coolidge, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her kind and compassionate nature.
Mary was a devoted member of the Northside Baptist Church in Thomasville and a graduate of Coolidge High School, class of 1958. She dedicated her career to serving others, working for BMA Business Men's Assurance in Tallahassee, Delta Life Insurance Company, and Archbold Hospital. Mary also generously volunteered her time at the Halcyon Home, spreading joy and comfort to those in need.
Mary is survived by two stepchildren, along with one grandchild, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her parents, her first husband James Samuel "Sammy" Clark, their loving children Teresa Ann Clark Mayo, James Gregory Clark, and Stanley Clinton Clark, as well as her second husband, Russell Thomas Howell.
