Services for Mary Jane Lastinger of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate and interment will be in Red Bluff Church Cemetery in Pearson, GA at 2:30PM. Mrs. Lastinger died March 27 at her residence. Born June 1, 1916 in Atkinson Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Mose and Margeann Sanders. She was married to Gaines Lastinger who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lastinger was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jane Lastinger of Thomasville; grandchildren, Dr. Lyle Lastinger, Dr. Cynthia Masopust, Carrie Brooks, Debra Tanner, Stephanie Jernigan and Steven Tanner; great grandchildren, Ashley Pais, Jaron Lastinger, Hope Walker, Lt. Brad Lott, Misty Henley; great great grandchildren, Caroline Walker, William Walker, Josh Walker, Jacob Lott, Levi Lott, Kalep Henley and Deen Pais. A son, Norman V. Lastinger, a daughter, Georgia Lastinger Tanner and a son-in-law, Cecil Tanner, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30PM on Tuesday.
