Mary Johnson

Memorial services for Mary Johnson, age 72, of Thomasville will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Johnson got her wings and went to walk with the angels on March 4, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Dewey Castleberry and Odessa (nee Milam). Mary was a compassionate spirit whose sole purpose was to care for others. She spent many years caring for the disabled and elderly as a nursing aid. Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Chastain. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Johnson; beloved daughter, Christina Kindon; and beloved siblings, Homer Castleberry, Dorothy Clements, Robert Castleberry, and MacArthur Castleberry.
