Mary Josephine Jones

Mary Josephine Everett (Jo) Jones, 90 of Thomasville died on June 15, 2016 in Thomasville. Born December 28, 1925 in Pavo, Ga, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Mary Josephine Adams Everett. She was an elementary retired teacher and was a member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville. She was married to the late James Claude Jones. Survivors include daughters Claudia J. Grooms and Penny J. Poole both of Thomasville, a son James Claude Jones II (Bubba) of Eclectic, Alabama, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Marion Everett and Henry Adams Everett. The family will announce funeral plans at a later date.
