Funeral services Mary Ann McEnroe Manley, 83, of Pavo, Ga, are at 2 pm , Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral in the fellowship hall of the church. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate.
Mary Ann Manley passed away peacefully at Colquitt Regional Hospital in Moultrie, GA on Monday, January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 26, 1941, in Columbus, GA to the late Joseph Frances McEnroe and Bertie Green McEnroe. She was the eldest of two sisters. Although, she was unable to attend for the last few years, Mary Ann was a faithful member of Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Mary Ann attended Vashti School in Thomasville, GA. She was employed for many years with Grady General Hospital and then later with the Senior Center in Cairo, GA. Before her retirement she volunteered at Colquitt Regional Hospital in Moultrie, GA. On June 25, 2005 she married W.L. Manley, Jr of Pavo who survives. Mary Ann was a devoted wife, sister, mother and her most precious title was grandmother & great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, W.L. Manley, Jr. of Pavo, GA, daughter Julieanna Johnson of Marianna, FL; sons Jeffrey (Diane) Johnson of Climax, GA, Ward (Kim) Johnson, Cairo GA; bonus sons Scott (Sylvia) Manley of Milledgeville, GA and Todd Manley of Albany, GA. Grandchildren, Mason Johnson of Crosscity, FL, Kaitlynn (Jordan) Phillips of San Antonio, TX, Kaelie Johnson of Crosscity, FL, Bailey Johnson, Cairo, GA, Nora Leigh (Dennis) Rogers of Lake Park, GA. Great grandchildren include Chloe Elizabeth Rogers of Lake Park, GA; sisters Betty Jo O'Steen (Richard) of Perry, FL and Frannie Clark of Tifton, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Lawana McEnroe, father to her children, Roxford Johnson and Thomas Lee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pine Level Baptist Church.
