Mary Frances Parker

Mary Frances Parker of Quitman, Georgia passed away on December 5, 2017 in Quitman, GA at the age of 90. Mary Parker was born June 12, 1927 in Troy, Alabama to Tup and Jesse Lee Rushing. She began work early in her life and worked until she was well past 80 and knew many friends along the way. She loved her flowers and spending time with her family and friends. Mary Parker was a member of Okapilco Baptist Church and a former member of Eastern Star in Quitman. She was preceded in death by her son Albie Parker and parents Tup and Jesse Rushing (and brothers-sisters). Survivors include her son Richard Parker, wife Patricia; sister, Ruth Smith, husband R.B. Smith; brother Harmon Rushing, wife Mary Ann; sister Janette Monk; sister, Ellen Bryan, husband James; grandchildren, Richard Parker, Jr., Michael Parker, wife, Nina, Warren Parker, wife Mellisa, Jessica Parker, Ricky Parker, wife Ginger, Tracey Parker, wife Michelle; plus eight great grandchildren. Receiving of friends will take place at Enon Baptist Church, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:30PM until 3:00PM followed by a memorial service and graveside service at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
