Mary Tillman Parrish

Funeral services for Mary Tillman Parrish, 96 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Her son W. A. Parrish will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Born on June 28, 1921 in Quitman, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Walter Mitchel Tillman and Nancy Edwards. On December 3, 1938 in Colquitt Co., Georgia she married the late Ollice George Henry Parrish. Mrs. Parrish worked for the Thomas County School System as a cook. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Norman Parrish and his wife Wilma of Thomasville, daughter Nelda Ragsdale and her husband Joe of Calhoun, Georgia, W.A. Parrish and his wife Becky of Metcalfe, daughter Rachel Hill and her husband Jeff of Ione, Georgia, daughter Beth Parrish of Calhoun and daughter Ava Parrish of Thomasville. Also surviving are her daughter-in-law Kathy Parrish of Albany, sister-in-law Marjorie Parrish of Lyons, 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Ollice Neal Parrish. The family will receive friends from 10 until service time on Monday.
