Mary Ann Wheeler

Funeral Service for Mary Ann Wheeler will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Merriville Baptist Church. Mary Ann Wheeler, age 82, of Coolidge passed away on January 24, 2023, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born in Pavo on October 15, 1940, daughter to the late Carl and Allie Murphy Yandle. She was a graduate of Coolidge High School. Mary Ann was a lifelong member of Merriville Baptist Church. She always put God first and loved being active at church. She was the Vacation Bible School director and played piano for the church for over 40 years. Mary Ann also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Alan (Chrissy) Wheeler of Coolidge and grandchildren Cannon and Allie Ann Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Loretta Yandle and Gladys Carr. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5-7 P.M. at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary Ann’s honor to Big Creek Cemetery Fund or Legacy Village at Plantation Manor (220 Park Ave, Thomasville, GA 31792).
