Mattie Lou Gaddy

Services for Mattie Lou Gaddy, 72, of Thomasville will be at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Dawson Street Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Lee Waller & Rev. Rudledge Courtney will officiate with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Charles Thornhill, Marcus Smith, Keith Dekle, Maurice Chastain & Rodney Reneau. Mrs. Gaddy passed away on July 7, 2002 at her residence. Born December 16, 1930 in Cook Co., Ga., she was the daughter of the late Crawford & Lela Lasseter. On August 28, 1949 she married Chan Hammond Gaddy who survives. She was a homemaker. Other survivors include her son, Charles C. Gaddy of Thomasville; grandchildren, Cindy Jones & Blake Jones; sisters, Eva Nell Mayo of West Bay, Fl., Joyce Rayburn of Augusta, Ga. She was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Sue Jones and a brother George Lasseter.
