Funeral services for Mattie Lou Garner, 92, of Thomasville will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Terry Dorm will officiate and internment will be in Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Mrs. Garner died on January 4, 2013 in Thomasville. Born on May 12, 1920 in Lamar County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mattie Lou Garner Allen. She was a homemaker and attended Church of God. She was married to the late Arnold Garner. Survivors include daughters, Earline Garner of Ochlocknee, Elizabeth Lou Duckett of Venice, TX, Beatrice Carr of Zebulon , GA and sons Glen Arnold Edna of Griffin, GA and Eugene. M. Garner Margaret of Ochlocknee, GA. Other survivors include 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Mae Garner and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends from 1 until service time on Monday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
