Mr. Maurice Edgar Peter, 77 of Thomasville passed away September 24, 2015 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born July 19, 1938 in Springfield, Illinois, he was the son of the late Maurice G. Peter and Helen Virginia Farwell Peter. He was a cook for A&B Lobster House in Key West, Florida and enjoyed going to the Senior Center and participating in activities and making friends. He is survived by sisters and brother, Sara Allison of Armstrong, Missouri, James Peter of Dallas, Texas, Julia Sawyer of Thomasville, Kathryn Buckner of Key West, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. His ashes will be scattered at sea in Key West, Florida.
