Services for Mayo K. Wilson of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Salem Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Ben Roundtree, the Rev. Marshall Dixon and the Rev. Joe Dunn will officiate and interment is in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Wilson, Carl Wilson, Jesse Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Vann Smith, Chris Wilson, Josh Smith and Robert Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Mickey Wilson, Timothy Wilson, Michael Wilson, Steven Wilson, Bill Wilson and Phillip Wilson. Mrs. Wilson died on March 24, 2004 at Camellia Gardens. Born March 6, 1910 in Jefferson Co., Fl., she was the daughter of the late William Jesse and Mattie Barrett Kersey. On August 24, 1927 in Monticello, Fl., she married Henry Brinson Wilson who preceded her in death. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Brinson P. and Joyce Wilson of Dothan, AL, James W. and Myrtice Wilson, Claude F. and Jackie Wilson, Charles D. and Shirley Wilson all of Thomasville, Carl E. and Barbara Wilson of Boston, Emory J. and Patricia Wilson of Coolidge, Gerald A. and Martha Wilson, daughter and son-in-law, Vera W. and Thomas V. Smith all of Thomasville, twenty-six grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, three step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack L. Wilson, brother, Carl Kersey and sister, Emma Lou Dyer. The family will receive friend at the funeral home from 6-8PM on Friday. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
