Funeral services for McArthur Phillips, 73, of Thomasville will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church in Quincy, FL. Mr. Phillips died on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Glen Mor Nursing Home. Born on November 26, 1936 in Blountstown, FL, he was raised by the late Cellie and Annie Shephard. Mr. Phillips worked in furniture manufacturing. He is survived by a son, Arthur Durl Phillips of Bainbridge; a daughter and son in law, Linda and Henry Colvin of Boston and 2 daughters, Nancy Phillips of Bainbridge and Darlene Phillips of Boston. Also surviving are grandchildren, Robin Phillips, Scottie and Michael Huffman, Danielle Dollar, Daniel Phillips, Jacob Hawthorne and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers Clyde and Roland Phillips and a sister Louise Phillips. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Monday night at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
