Michael Alonzo Barden

Funeral services for Michael Alonzo Barden, age 39, of Thomasville will be Sunday September 1 at 2:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mr. Barden died on August 29 in Thomasville. The son of A. W. and Edna Ray Barden, Mr. Barden was born on April 4, 1963 in Knox Ind. On May 13, 1982 in Thomasville, he was married to Deborah Morris Barden, who survives. Mr. Barden was employed as a lineman for Irby Construction. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Mike Fletcher of Thomasville; 2 daughters Jennifer Smith of Lafayette, Ind. and Tania Duncan of Thomasville; a son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Niki Duncan of Ochlochnee; 4 grandchildren, Shelly Dollar, Cole Harrison, Lorin Fletcher, and Austin Fletcher; 2 brothers, Don Barden of Lafayette, Ind. and David Barden of Rensselaer, Ind.; 2 sisters, Sandy Stone and Cathy Barden, both of Rensselaer, Ind; several neices and nephews.
