Michael Brandon Newsome

Services for Michael Brandon Newsome, 27 of Pavo will be held at 4:00pm, Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church. Rev. Matt Stacy, Rev. Larry Harris and Rev. Teron Stonecypher will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Newsome passed away September 14, 2014 in Moultrie. Born April 16, 1987 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Junior Marshall Newsome and Tami Crosby Newsome of Pavo. On October 1, 2011 at Gin Creek in Hartsfield, Ga he married Rayna Hampton Newsome who survives. He was employed with Bad Cattle Panels and Tallokas Plantation. He attended Antioch Baptist Church and was a 2006 graduate of Thomas County Central High School and 2010 graduate of Southwest Georgia Technical College with a degree in welding. At TCCHS, Michael was a member of 4H, SAFE Shot Gun Team and the Forestry Team. Other survivors include sister, Brandie Newsome of Pavo; niece, Arriona Newsome; nephew, Christian Newsome; mother-in-law, Kay Hampton of Thomasville; father-in-law, David Hampton and wife Cassie of Pavo; maternal grandparents, Charlie & Grace Crosby (both deceased) and Janie Crowder of Arizona; paternal grandparents, Junior (deceased)& Josephine Newsome of Pavo; paternal grandparents, Lucio Estrada & Shirley Estrada (deceased); aunts & uncles, Edna Newsome and Nicho Sifuntes, George Griffin all of Moultrie, Michelle & Billy Welch, Sammy Newsome, Brenda & Scotty Richards, Tim Hampton all of Pavo; grandparents-in-law, Larry & Vickie Bracewell and Ann Sapp all of Tifton; cousins, Jessica Newsome, Kim Newsome and Nancy Newsome all of Moultrie and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins.
