Graveside services for Mickie Regina Bennett Moody, 100, of Thomasville, are 4:00 pm, Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Boston City Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer officiating. Mrs. Moody died February 12, at Archbold Hospital. Born November 7, 1906, in Meigs, GA., she was the daughter of the late Charles Eugene Bennett & Alice Davis Bennett. She was married to the late William Benjamin Moody. Mrs. Moody graduated from the Meigs High School, in 1925, was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College and Valdosta State University, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the United Daughters of The Confederacy. She was a teacher in Thomas County for 40 years. Survivors include sister-in-law, Lorene Bennett, of Thomasville, nieces, Alice Parrish Springer, of San Mateo, CA., Dale Bennett Bailey, of Orlando, FL., Cheryl Bennett Dodson, of Leesville, LA, Lynn Bennett Brooks, of Thomasville, Jinanne Bennett Parrish, of Thomasville, nephews, Charles Parrish, of Bath, NC., Ansel Parrish, of Pelham, GA., Jon Bennett, of Whigham, Robert Bennett, of Camilla, aunt Naomi Davis Scarbrough, of Pelham, special cousins, Dorothy Tinsley Maxwell, of Cairo, and Pat Tinsley Rhodes, of Quitman, and all the caregivers at the Presbyterian Home of Quitman.
