Services for Mildred Baggett Davis, 82, of Macon, are at 11 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2009, at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Interment is in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the nephews. Mrs. Davis died May 14 in Macon. Born May 12, 1927, in Grady County, she was the daughter of the late William Harvey and Ellen Kent Baggett. On June 12, 1947, in Thomas County, she married Theron Brantley Davis who preceded her in death on October 16, 2001. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Ellen Davis Rotfeld and husband, Herbert of Auburn, Ala.; son, Keith Davis and wife, Laura of Macon; grandsons, Theron Davis and wife, Stephanie of Macon and Eric Davis of Marietta; sisters, Lois Hogan of Ochlocknee, Vanda Cooper and husband, Charles of Ochlocknee and Sybil Jones of Ochlocknee; brother, Ed Baggett and wife, Judy of Ochlocknee; sisters-in-law, Delycia Baggett of Thomasville, Merita Powell of Valdosta, Virginia Vann of Leesburg and Doris Davis of Pasadena, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
